Time varies see organization’s schedule

Slave Lake Multi Rec Centre – includes a walking track, fieldhouse, play area, mini floor hockey rink, multipurpose room, and two ice arenas.

Northern Lights Aquatic Centre (Pool) – At times, preschool plunge is Monday to Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sat. and Sun noon to 1 p.m., but times may vary.

Slave Lake Public Library – the library has various events throughout the month. The following events are on this calendar or list of recurring events: For kids – Story Time, For all ages: Magic the Gathering and Human Library, For adults: Reel Talk, Book Club, and Writers’s Group. For everything else, see the Library’s website.

In the winter, most weekends there is hockey – Thunder minor hockey, girls U15/U18, pond hockey, and Icedogs – there are also men’s leagues and a women’s team called the Kodiaks

Curling – both Slave Lake and Kinuso have curling clubs. Kinuso’s is run by the Ag Society.
