Slave Lake Minor Hockey Association started the 2022-23 season with a fun (ie. doesn’t impact the season) three-on-three tournament.

The tournament had two divisions U11/13 and U15/18.

Each division had four teams, which played three players and a goalie at a time. Goalies switched teams throughout the tournament. U11/13 had four goalies and U15/18 had three.

Team Mike won the U11/13 league. Players were Eric Martin, Ryan Baalbaki, Addison Gauchier, Jordan Bjornson, Curtis Wong, Colby Churchill, Jack Oostvogels, Jake Courtorielle and Brayden Sinclair. The U11/13 goalies were Noah Eben, Gage Romanchuk, Jackson Pretty and Isaiah Brown.

Team Ashley won the U15/18 division. Players were Owen Griffith, Jonas Lillo, Daniel Normand, Reegan Fudge, Blake Bellerose, Evander Pawliw, Maddison Green and Grayson Conrad. Goalies were Dayton Seppola, Andrei Angelescu and Grady Beauchamp.

The games were played at the Slave Lake Multi Rec Centre on Saturday, September 10.
