The Animal Rescue Committee of Slave Lake (ARC) is holding its 18th Annual Dog Walk/Run. This is a fundraiser to help animals in the area. People can register and collect pledges online, download a pledge form, or pick up a pledge form at The Business Factory, Slave Lake Vet Clinic, or Treats R Uz. Participants do not need a dog to do the walk. There’s a BBQ after the walk.

Time: Sunday, May 28 registration at 10:30 a.m., walk starts at 11 a.m.

Location: starts and ends at the ARC animal shelter, Slave Lake

Cost: participant fee $5, for every $50 the participation fee will be waived.
