The Ninth Annual Oilmen’s Shoot is put on by the Slave Lake Petroleum Association at the Slave Lake Rod and Gun Club. Participants do not have to work in the oilfield. There is ZERO tolerance for consuming alcohol or drugs before or during the event. Alcohol will be available for purchase at the supper and award ceremony after the event. Everyone will need to bring or borrow a gun capable of firing two shots without reloading.
Time: June 11 – morning and afternoon. Includes lunch and supper. (contact organizers for exact hours).
Cost: $150 or $750 per team. Includes shotshells, clay pigeons, alcohol-free drinks, and lunch and supper.
