Northern Lights Family Resource Network is offering the Red Cross Babysitting Course. This teaches 12 to 15 year olds the skills needed to babysit. It includes being a leader, childhood characteristics and behavior, creating a safe environment, caring for children, basic first aid and fire safety, and building your babysitting business.

Age: 12 to 15 year olds

Time: Saturday, September 17 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Location: multi purpose room in the Slave Lake Multi Purpose Room

Cost: $10 per person.
