Slave Lake Christmas Bird Count

We are looking forward to another Christmas Bird Count this year! It is always a great way to kick off the Christmas season for the LSLBO. Unfortunately with COVID world still here, we won’t be having our Early Bird Breakfast (hopefully next year). We will let each birding group plan out their day instead.
There are several ways that you can contribute to the count:
- Feederwatcher – record the number of birds/species you observe at your feeder and how long you watched.
- Town/Marten River – Walk or drive around your neighborhood and the bear trails in search of birds. Usually always lots to see, especially around the feeders.
- Take one of the forest routes. Always more of a challenge out there and every bird that you see is a victory!
