The Slave Lake Legion has a concert and book signing on Saturday, Aug. 6. From 1 to 5 p.m., Sheila Willis will be selling and signing her book – Alberta History: Lesser Slave Lake Region 1880-1896. Carla Boisvert and her students will have a concert from 2 to 5 p.m.

Time: Aug. 6 – 1 to 5 p.m. book signing, 2 to 5 p.m. concert.

Location: Slave Lake Legion

Cost: entrance free. Burgers and hotdogs for sale.
