The Lesser Slave Forest Education Society, the Lesser Slave Watershed Council and the Lesser Slave Lake Bird Observatory are hosting a summer day camp for youth (11 to 14 years old).Explore the boreal forest and experience what makes this system so special. Campers can expect to learn about wildfire ecology, water dynamics and the scientific method. Activities will also include things like hiking, fishing, tours, crafts, games and more. Limited spots available!
Age: 11 to 14-year-olds
Dates: July 12 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $40 per day or $100 for all thre days.
