- Friday, July 7 – evening – Beer Garden @ Slave Lake Legion
- Saturday, July 8 – during the day – Riverboat Daze Saturday begins with a pancake breakfast, which as of this writing had not yet been fully organized. It’s scheduled from 9 – 11 a.m. and is expected to be at the Legion. Organizers told us on June 20 that the food has been donated, the grill and so on was all ready to go; all that was needed was a few volunteers who know what they are doing. The All Seasons Market starts at 10 a.m. that day at Rennie Hall Plaza downtown, and there’s a children’s parade starting at 11. Downtown will be blocked off to regular traffic for the duration. Also scheduled for the downtown area are children’s performers, games, music, food trucks, mini-golf and shopping specials.
- Saturday, July 8 – fireworks (at dusk) at the Slave Lake Airport
Cost: depends on the event.
Location: various locations in Slave Lake – free concert in the MRC parking lot – parade route through downtown. Main St. events at Rennie Hall Plaza and the Legion. Carnival across Hwy. 88 from 6 Ave. SE.
