Town of Slave Lake byelection for mayor and one council seat.

The Returning Officer or designate will receive nominations of candidates for the local jurisdiction byelection during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, from February 8th, 2023 to March 3rd, 2023 and on Monday, March 6th, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until Noon, at the Town of Slave Lake Government Centre (Town Office) Municipal Building located 10 Main Street S.W. Slave Lake, Alberta

Times:

  • The nomination period is Feb. 8 to noon on March 6, 2023.
  • Byelection advance poll – Saturday, March 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Byelection advance poll – March 29, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • People living in facilities
    • Mar. 28 – Vanderwell Heritage Place and Sweetgrass (people living in seniors lodges).
    • Mar. 30 Slave Lake Health Centre (for patients staying at the hospital)
  • Byelection – April 3, 2023 – from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
