Triple P: Positive Parenting Program is put on by the Children’s Resource Council in Slave Lake. It is a five week online course for parents of teens. Parents learn how to develop positive parenting skills, building healthy relationships, improve teen behavior, develop a parenting plan, how to use praise to encourage positive behavior, overcome obstacles while building resilience, develop realistic family rules and expectations, and have family meetings.
Who: parents of kids 12 years old and younger.
Time: From 8 to 10 p.m. for five weeks on Wednesdays: March 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Where: on Zoom.
