Ram Charlie Deputat rushes forward to tackle a Westlock Thunderbird on October 13 in Slave Lake. The Roland Michener Secondary School football Rams took on the Thunderbirds for the first time that day.
Rams coach Philip Owen says, “We had a hard fought game against our rivals Westlock Thunderbirds. Some stellar performances from our quarterbacks Brayden Alook (12) and Tristan Emes (14) and defensive leaders in Porter Zutz (42) and Sharlee Samuelson (81). We unfortunately lost 27 to 62, but the team culture is growing together.”
The final two Rams games are away in Rimbey and Buck Mountain.
