Slave Lake Koinonia Christian School Grade 6 and 7 students took part in a webinar with Canadian astronaut Jeremy R. Hansen on Feb. 23. Hansen spoke to Koinonia and other schools about his work with the Canadian Space Agency (CSA). He decided to become an astronaut in Grade 6 after learning about Neil Armstrong, the first man on the moon. He also spoke about how he became an astronaut, what it is like living and working in space, and CSA’s part in an upcoming mission to the moon.
