Connie Baird, from the Slave Lake Region Tourism Society, accepts a $2,500 donation from Jared Franklin, with Franklin Parts and Travelling Timbers, to sponsor the Beach Fest beer garden. The Slave Lake company also supplied the firewood for the bonfire, which will be burning on Saturday, August 12 by the beer gardens.
Beach Fest is a two-day event on August 12 and 13 at Devonshire Beach. For details, see ad on Page 24.
