Bosox won the Slave Lake Slo-pitch season.
The Slave Lake Slo-pitch Association final was flooded out on July 27 to 28.
An attempt was made to reschedule, but not enough teams were available August long weekend, so the winners are based on the season standings. The season ran May 15th to July 18th.
The league had 13 teams. The top eight qualified for the finals.
During the season, Bosox won 15 games, tied one and lost four games.
No Parts were second, winning 13 games and losing four.
Lowballers were third, with 12 wins and five losses.
Dirt Bags were fourth, with 12 wins and seven losses.
Loon River was fifth, with 10 wins and zero losses.
The Stallions were sixth, with 10 wins and two losses.
Whitecap was seventh, with six wins and nine losses.
Whitefish was eighth, with five wins and eight losses.
The other teams were the Has Beens, Nickel Bats, Lakeside, 88s, and Millar Time.
Teams still interested in playing slo-pitch can register for the Slave Lake Fall Classic, which is September 14 and 15 at Charity Park slo-pitch diamonds in Slave Lake. It is $500 per team. To register, contact Don at 587-343-3552 and Wayne 780-849-8540.
