ELS Construction won the Kinuso Loggers Bonspiel A event.

It was March 23 and 24 in the Anton Kirtio Rink in the Kinuso Ag Centre.

In the A event final, ELS beat K&R Industrial Off Road for top prize.

Everett Samuelson skipped the winning team and was joined by Sharlee Samuelson, Colin Mackie, and Quinn Mackie.

A team with the same name won the A event at the 2022 Loggers.

The 2023 results don’t appear to be on The Leader’s website.

‘High School Sweathearts’ won the B event. Trudi Wild skipped the team. Her teammates were Brent Wild, Preslee Wild, and Ilias Chalifoux. The runner up was Richard Davis’ team.

In the C event, ‘Sweep Jesus’ skipped by Tyrell Cuthbert won. His teammates were Hunter Wedmid, Sydney Saitz, and Lindsay Sheldon. The runner up was Soggy Owl.

The Loggers is the longest running bonspiel in Kinuso.

This year, Loggers had 22 teams. It was the third and final bonspiel of the Kinuso season.

Kinuso curling is organized by the Central Slave Lake Agricultural Society, better known as the Kinuso Ag Society.

Kinuso league curling has wrapped up for another season.

During the season, Kinuso has a mixed league with men, women’s and mixed teams playing each other.
This year, the league had 15 registered.

The league doesn’t track records, but on the last day of curling, March 26, it held a dinner and some fun to wind up the season.
