The boreal forest is the largest land based ecosystem in the world and there is always something interesting happening, no matter which season you’re in! The Lesser Slave Forest Education society would like to take you on a journey through the four seasons of the boreal forest. We will share some of our favourite sights and sounds of the seasons with you and you’ll learn about the plants and animals of the boreal forest and the amazing changes that happen to all living things in this vast and diverse landscape.
