A Town of Slave Lake crew spent most of the day putting up new Christmas lights on the elm trees (after taking off the old ones) and attaching the big ‘snowflakes’ to the light poles on 3rd Ave. NE. It was a darn cold day to be outside doing anything, but all those lights have to be up in time for the ‘Light Up Slave Lake’ event on Nov. 25.
