Total Energy Services held it’s third annual Indigenous Hockey Day in Slave Lake on April 29, with help from Aspenleaf Energy and Tamarack Valley Energy. According to Shawn Gramlich of Total Energy Services, the event – held in memory of Chief Jason Goodstriker – had 88 participating kids from all over the region. Partnering in the program were the Edmonton Oilers, two of whose alumni helped out with on-ice instruction – Ian Herbers and Fernando Pisani.
