The Slave Lake Legion donated some money toward the Lesser Slave Lake Regional Arts Council’s mural project on Dec. 9. Part of it will go toward an embossed sign on the mural on the Legion. How to spend the rest will be up to the Arts Council’s mural committee.
For the Arts Council, Sheri Smears, left, accepts a cheque from Legion member Annette Braun. In the background, is part of the mural painted by local artist Kristin Thackeray on the Legion in 2022.
