On the afternoon of May 20, The Future of Our Past Historical Group and Rotary Club of Slave Lake Public Library held a museum day. It took place at the library. There were tables of old photographs of Slave Lake along with artifacts on display.

Jackson Whyte organized it. He had the help of Lakeside Leader, as many of the tables had photographs provided. “This is the first time I’m doing this. Hoping to do it annually,” says Whyte.
