Addison Broad (front) and Ezrah Love Giles take a ride on James Willier’s dog sled on February 28 in the EG Wahlstrom School (EGW) sports field. Willier is from Sucker Creek First Nation near High Prairie. He came to Slave Lake on Feb. 28 and 29 to teach Grade 4 EGW students about the history and sport of dog mushing. Over the days, 96 students took part.
