The Slave Lake Community Choir closed out its spring season with a final concert on June 7, combining music and community support in one memorable evening. A highlight of the performance was Heal the World, the final song of the concert. Mr. Will Nguyen’s Roland Michener Secondary High school concert band also took the stage, joining the choir for an evening that showcased local musical talent. The concert also supported the food bank at the Slave Lake Native Friendship Centre. Together, they donated $70, along with several boxes and bags of food, diapers, baby formula and sanitary products to help local families in need.
