U18 Female
The female Thunder played in High Prairie Friday night, losing 3 – 1. Addyson White scored the lone Slave Lake goal. Rachelle Srouji stopped 14 shots in the Slave Lake net.

U15
The U15 Thunder hosted Drayton Valley for a couple of games on the weekend. Saturday they lost 6 – 2 and 9 – 3 on Sunday.


In Saturday’s game, the Thunder got off to a decent start, and were leading 2 – 1 about halfway through the game on goals by Liam Dierker and Jayce Beaulac.

But the visitors turned it up a notch or two and scored five straight to finish it off.

On Sunday, Drayton led 2 – 1 after two, but blew it open in the third for a 9 – 3 victory. Seth Myers, Damian Hill and Jonas Lillo scored for the Thunder. Grady Beauchamp was very busy in the Slave Lake goal, facing 52 shots.

U13
The U13 #1 Thunder spent the weekend in Fort McMurray. Saturday they beat the host team in a 13 – 10 barn-burner. Sunday’s game was a much tamer affair, going to the Thunder by a 5 – 4 score.

Saturday’s goalfest saw the Thunder fall behind 5 – 1 early on and then fight their way back into it. They scored the final three goals of the game to win. Grayson Conrad had another huge game, with half a dozen goals to go along with four assists.

Nathan Ghostkeeper and Kale Whitney scored two apiece. Connor Beauchamp, Dawson Taylor and Owen Griffith chipped in with a goal each.

Dayton Seppola dealt with 55 shots on goal in the Slave Lake net.

On Sunday, Colby Campbell scored the winning goal, about halfway through the third period.

Otherwise, Slave Lake goal-scorers were Kale Whitney, Grayson Conrad (2) and Dawson Taylor. Dayton Seppola notched another win in net for the Thunder, making 36 saves.

The U13 #2 team played CNN #1 on Saturday, winning 8 – 0. Nolan Beaupre led the way with a hat trick for the Thunder, one more than Carter Donaldson. Also scoring for the home team were Brody Whitney, Arnold Broadfoot and Callum Lindsay. Isaiah Brown stopped all 29 shots he faced in the Slave Lake net.

The U13 #3 team played Athabasca to a 5 – 5 draw on Sunday at home. Hadley Knutt scored the tying goal, on a pass from Jackson Pretty. Other Slave Lake goal-scorers were Jorgia Green and Chase Mountain, with two each. Nathan Boucher stopped 43 shots for Slave Lake.

U11
Slave Lake’s U11 #2 team had two games on Sunday vs. Pembina 2, (Evansburg) but the results had not been posted online by press time.
All teams are now off until sometime in early January.

U9 teams from Slave Lake and Wabasca in a spirited game early Saturday.
