Vanderwell Contractors donated $12,000 for the Riverboat Daze fireworks show again this year, but according to a deal worked out between the Slave Lake & District Chamber of Commerce and Slave Lake Regional Tourism Society, the money is being split between those two groups. The result is two fireworks shows; the first was during Riverboat Daze, on July 8 and the second will be during Beach Fest, on Aug. 12. It will be on Devonshire Beach near the wheelchair access point.
