New culverts went in at a couple of locations on Hwy. 88 recently, via the boring method (as opposed to the much more disruptive open cut style). Those were two of half a dozen such culvert upgrades in the area this fiscal year, we’re told. More are being identified for next year. One of the recent replacements (just south of the golf course turnoff) was at a spot that had failed earlier in the year.
